Alex Harford This isn't just the best Slowdive tribute album, but the best tribute album ever. There are faithful recreations and some more unique spins, popular tracks and rare tracks, old stuff and new stuff (even Star Roving, already).

I love Slowdive, and I even prefer a couple of these tracks to the originals. Modern technology has probably helped in some cases, but that isn't meant as a put-down, as the covers have to be good in the first place.

A stunning effort. Thanks to everyone involved. Favorite track: White Cascade - Avalyn II.

I DON'T KNOW WHY (ha) I didn't give this album more of a chance when it dropped! Once I approached this album with a more open mind (not comparing it too much to their earlier work) I realized it was quite brilliant and charming in it's own right. Favorite Track: "Don't Know Why" Steven Reichling
